Remakes

I'm posting again, and this time I'm talking about ducks. Not really though, actually it's about games. Games that are being re-made and put on another system. Normally it doesn't piss me off that much. When they re-made the original "Metal Gear Solid" games and made better editions I was happy.
When they re-made Resident Evil for Game-Cube, and Resident Evil 4 from Game-Cube to PlayStation 2. Now that their turning Xbox-360 games into PS3 games, I'm getting a little mad. And I understand why their doing too. Take "Bioshock" for instance. It was the best game of 2006, and I've actually played this game.
Frankly, this is the best flippin' game on the Xbox-360. Everybody who played it loved it. And now their putting it on the PS3 and jacking up the prices. It's probably gonna make a ton of money, but that doesn't bother me so much.
Its the exact same game, but on a different console. They recently released "Chronicles Of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena", and its a great game. Not only does it have a re-make of the original game, "Chronicles Of Riddick: Escape From Butcher Bay", but its for PS3 and Windows. Which is pretty sweet for PS3 and Windows, because the original game, "Escape from Butcher Bay", was only available for the Xbox.
But the thing that does make me mad, is when they take a good game and change it completely, making it better and putting it exclusively on one system. And the only two games I can think of that did that; right off the top of my head would be "Ninja Gaiden", and "Ninja Gaiden 2". The original "Ninja Gaiden" was on the Xbox, and it was a pretty good game.
Hardcore, but pretty good. They decided to remake it after about a year though, and they titled it "Ninja Gaiden Black". When the PS3 came out, they remade it again, took the storyline from the original "Gaiden" and from "Black" and added weapons to make the perfect version. They named it "Ninja Gaiden Sigma", and it was pretty good. I have an Xbox-360, so I wasn't able to play it until recently, but I recently learned their making "Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2" (I know, a mouthful), and it is WAY BETTER than the original Xbox-360 version.
New weapons, more storyline, extra characters and a Vs mode, the game is way better than the original. And that's what's pissing me off, because I'm not going to be able to play it. I don't know why it's bothering me so much, BUT I also don't know why they won't just add all that stuff in the first place and release for all necessary consoles.
It's stupid. And this is my rant for the week (which is also my biggest one yet.)

Don't forget to ask for gaming tips.

  1. Well, all that the company's that are making Xbox 360 games to PS3 games is to make money, and so PS3 lovers (including me) don't have to buy an Xbox 360 to play a couple of games that I fall in love with. Just because PS3 makes the games better is not there fault. It's Xbox 360's. For not making there games good :)

    PS: Wii is Garrrbbbaageee.

  2. I don't see your point of them remaking the games from what you said with the ninja gaiden games. PS3 has the better version and it just kept improving so I don't see how they changed the game because all they did was make it better as you have said so really they didn't change the whole game they just made it better and without making the games better. They improve games all the time like the MGS games if they didn't improve them they would be just like the first one and that would just be boring so all that really is is improving the game and the XBOX just didn't keep the game on their console.
